Color Game : Think Pink
If a hot pink cuckoo clock makes you smile, how about mixing your rooms with a little blast of hot pink this spring? I hadn't thought of that until yesterday when Jayne and I saw the Oscar de la Renta retrospective at the de Young Museum (San Francisco). 130 ensembles, including those worn by Taylor Swift & Rihanna and first ladies Hillary Clinton & Laura Bush. Talk about a rush. There was one gown I can't stop thinking about and you guessed it - it was hot pink! So fresh for this spring.
That got me thinking of some inexpensive ways to brighten our rooms - and don't you love this old timey cuckoo clock brought into this century with a quick spray of pink?

My inspiration - Oscar de la Renta's evening gown in fuchsia silk faille and metallic embroidery. I forgot my phone but fortunately, Jayne handed over hers so I could capture this dress.
